Our tour begins with greetings from one of the resident Scarecrows, who teaches the class about how pumpkins are grown on the farm. It's all about hard work, patience, good weather, picking the right seeds, and a little bit of luck!
Our resident farmer also introduces the group to various gourds, squash, and varieties of pumpkins, and the students find out that not all pumpkins are orange and round.
The class is taken to the Pumpkin Fields in our
safe-sided haywagon, where each child will be invited to pick their own pumpkin to keep and take home.
After that, they may head to the Pumpkin Patch attractions, which include the playgrounds, jumping pillow, forts and tree house, the new bag swing, climbing bales, super underground slides, and much more!
School groups are welcome to bring your own sack lunches and refreshments.
Reservations are Required for School Groups.
Admission is $5 per student, siblings, and chaperones. Teachers employed by the school district are admitted free with the class.
